கருந்துளைகளில் சிக்கிய ஒளி போல உன்
கரு விழிகளில் மாட்டி கொண்டேனே!
கனவினுள் கனவை போல - நீ அருகில் இல்லா
காலம் மெல்ல செல்ல கண்டேனே!

உனது ஈர்ப்பு அதிகமனதோ?
எனது நேரம் குறைந்து போனதோ?
சற்றே மறந்தேன் உலகத்தை..
இந்த அன்னியம் மிஞ்சிடும் மரணத்தை...

இழந்துவிட்டேன் இரவில் உறக்கத்தை
உந்தன் கனவில் விதைப்பேன் காதல் மயக்கத்தை...
நாம் இருவரயினினும்
ஒன்றாய் பார்ப்போம் உலகத்தை..

இப்படிக்கு,
உனது இரகசிய காவலன்...
